Other jurisdictions not declaring the one-time holiday

Several provincial jurisdictions are not declaring Monday September 19, 2022, as a provincial holiday. 

Instead, they will mark the day as day of mourning and observe a moment of silence. The provinces and territories that will remember
Queen Elizabeth II in this manner are:

  • North West Territories
  • Ontario
  • Quebec
  • Saskatchewan
