Revenu Québec has confirmed that Québec employers can now use WebRAS – Calculation of Source Deductions and Employer Contributions to correctly calculate source deductions for employees aged 65 to 73 who have elected to stop contributing to the Québec Pension Plan (QPP).
Québec employers using WebRAS should:
- Stop QPP contributions for eligible employees only.
- Ensure the appropriate employee election documentation, including the RR-50 form, has been received before stopping QPP deductions.
- Validate payroll calculations for affected employees and update internal procedures, guidance, or system settings as required.
