Today, the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) announced that T4 and T5 slips submitted through the Web Forms application are being rejected when accessed through My Business Account (MyBA) or Represent a Client (RAC). This issue does not affect the Web Forms application when accessed with a Web Access Code (WAC).
If a payroll software and service provider submits T4/T5 slips on behalf of an employer, this announcement should not apply to those filings.
The CRA expects this issue to be resolved by the end of January 2026 and will provide an update once the matter has been fully addressed.
Filers should refrain from submitting T4 or T5 slips through the Web Forms application if accessing it via MyBA or RAC until further notice.
