How To End Your Subscription

If you don't plan to run payroll for a while but intend to resume later, you can temporarily pause your account. This article serves as a guide to how to end account subscription.

  1. Click the person icon on the top right and select Billing. 
  2. Under Plan Details, select Browse Plans.
  3. Below your current plan, you would see the option End my Subscription.

If I end my subscription, can I still access my account?

  • Yes, you can still view historical data. However, accounts without subscription have limited functionality, typically only allowing access to reports and employee details. 

If I want to resubscribe, do I need to go through the Onboarding process again?

  • Knit will retain all your data. Once you decide to resubscribe, your account will be restored exactly as it was when you paused it. There’s no need to undergo the onboarding process unless there have been changes to your company structure during the time you were not processing payroll.

If I want to close my account permanently, will I still use this function?

  • To close your account permanently, please submit a service ticket, and we’ll handle the closure process for you.
