Employer Health Tax (EHT) Deferral – Ontario

To support Ontario’s economy amid uncertainty and U.S. tariffs, the Ontario government is offering six months of interest and penalty relief on EHT payments. This allows businesses to defer payments from April 1 to October 1, 2025. To avoid charges, all outstanding taxes must be paid in full by October 1, 2025.
