Effective September 11, 2023, employers who pay WorkSafeBC (WCB) by cheque will be required to include their e-banking number with their cheque payment.
Employers' e-banking numbers can be found on their Payroll Report. Alternatively, workers can include the payment stub that appears at the bottom of their Payroll Report or payment form.
Without this information, WCB may be unable to process employers’ cheques, which can lead to penalties and impact their clearances.
